For those heavier days, Love Luna Super Period Shorts feature an extra layer of padding along with our trusty waterproof layer. That's 5 clever layers to lock everything away and keep you dry, comfy and confident all day long.
Our period short is a super cute on trend shape. A perfect full coverage short which is suitable for every body shape! With an extended internal gusset panel, these are ideal for wearing at night to give you that extra peace of mind while you sleep.
Keeping the environment in mind, Love Luna Super Period Shorts are made from organic cotton. Fun fact, it’s even more durable than regular cotton and feels amazing next to your skin.
As well as keeping the planet safe from pesky disposables, we like to keep you safe too! That’s why our Love Luna Period products are PFAS free.

Designed to absorb approximately 40ml (5-6 regular tampons).
Wear them on their own or as a backup - only you know your flow.

Care Instructions

It's washable, reusable & easy to care for. Rinse your Luna briefs and reusable pads with cold water as soon as you can after removal until the water starts to run clear. Pop them in a Luna Washbag with the rest of your washing and wash with like colours on a cold water cycle (max 30 degrees).

Wash before wear. Cold delicate machine wash with like colours. Do not add softener. Do not soak. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Line dry.

Washing your Love Luna briefs correctly will ensure they are kept absorbent, comfortable and longer lasting — so they are ready to support you through every period or leak.

Yes! You can wash with other clothes, just make sure you've rinsed until the water runs clear then we recommend you pop your briefs into a delicates washbag.
Yes, never tumble dry as it could affect the leak-proof technology. Plus did you know the sun is good for your luna briefs?
If you follow all care instructions, during and after you use them, they will last for approximately 50 washes. We recommend 7 to 10 briefs to cover your full cycle, check out our bundles.

Very short in the back!

These period shorts were very short in the back, I had to check if I had them on backwards but nope. My buttcrack was poking out the top. They felt nice and firm all over and felt like good coverage over the front, but the low bum means they will not become my “comfy period undies” unfortunately.

True to size but poor design

The back of short sit shorter (near the butt crack) than the front of the short (near belly button) making them feel quite uncomfortable at the back.
Absorbency could be improved - my period is not massively heavy, however found the a still bled out the sides of the shorts near the thighs as nothing to keep it locked in.
With this being said, I love the very high gusset at the front and hope I can find this in the normal period undies or this will be considered in the future.

Comfortable but already small holes forming

These are some of the most comfortablest period undies I have ever worn however I did notice that there was a hole in them after only wearing them for 3 hours, this makes me weary on how they are going to hold up with multiple wears

Size for the plus size

I really wise these would come in bigger sizes as a plus size women I always find it difficult to get my exact size so I normally always go a size bigger than what I need.
I tend to like the boxer trunk type underwear as well as it holds alot more in and you don't have the extra flab spiling out the sides of your underwear

Not leak proof

I'm not sure if maybe the gusset isn't wide enough but when used on my heaviest days I leak over the sides. My other brand of period undies in the same style doesn't have this issue. I'm sure they'll be fine for lighter days
