Finding your flow

These period briefs are designed for medium flow coverage. That means they absorb 10-15ml of menstrual flow (2-3 regular tampons).

As a rough guide, if you change your pads every 3-4 hours, or your tampons every 4-8 hours, you might have a medium flow. In other words, our medium range could be ideal for you.

Unlike standard PJs that can insulate the body or cling in all the wrong places, our cooling tees, shorts, pants and dresses are made from flowy, breathable materials that improve air flow, limit heat build-up and keep sweats under control.

Is medium flow normal?

Remember that periods change from person to person. You might have a light period (where you only need to change pads or tampons a couple of times a day) or a heavier period (where changing is needed every 1-2 hours).

A medium flow falls somewhere between the two. Although there’s no “normal”, we always recommend consulting with your health care professional if your periods are irregular or super heavy.

Keep in mind that cycles can be irregular for a few years after your first period. Many people start with medium flow briefs and change to medium plus or super if their period gets heavier. Keeping track of your cycle with an app can help you get to know your body.
